Community Guidelines

Last updated: April 18, 2026

Proxoso works because both brands and chapters show up with integrity. These guidelines exist to protect that. Violations may result in warnings, deal cancellation, account suspension, or permanent bans — depending on severity.

For Everyone

🤝

Communicate honestly

✓ Do

  • Be upfront about your capabilities, timeline, and expectations
  • Respond to messages within a reasonable time (48 hours is a good baseline)
  • If something comes up, let the other party know early

✗ Don't

  • Ghost the other party once a deal is active
  • Make promises you can't keep
  • Use the message thread to harass or pressure
📋

Honor your agreements

✓ Do

  • Deliver what was agreed — no more, no less
  • Flag scope questions before a deal is funded, not after
  • Use the revision process in good faith

✗ Don't

  • Request major changes to deliverables after funding
  • Withhold payment for reasons unrelated to deliverable quality
  • Submit work that clearly doesn't meet the agreed brief
🔒

Keep deals on platform

✓ Do

  • Complete all payments through Proxoso
  • Agree to new deals through the Platform even if you've worked together before

✗ Don't

  • Arrange side payments to avoid platform fees
  • Move to external payment methods mid-deal
  • Solicit off-platform arrangements
🚫

No harmful content

✓ Do

  • Promote products and services that are legal and appropriate for your audience
  • Follow FTC disclosure requirements on all sponsored content

✗ Don't

  • Promote tobacco, vaping, alcohol (to anyone under 21), firearms, drugs, gambling, or adult content
  • Create content that discriminates, harasses, or targets individuals
  • Misrepresent a product's qualities or safety

For Brands

💼

Be a good partner

✓ Do

  • Fund deals promptly after approving an application
  • Provide clear briefs and content guidelines upfront
  • Give constructive, specific feedback on revisions

✗ Don't

  • Approve applications with no intention of funding
  • Use the revision process as a way to delay or avoid paying
  • Request deliverables outside the agreed campaign scope

Represent your brand accurately

✓ Do

  • Use real brand photos, logos, and descriptions
  • List your actual products and target audience
  • Be transparent about campaign expectations

✗ Don't

  • Impersonate another brand or company
  • Post campaigns for products you don't control or represent
  • Inflate your brand's reach or legitimacy
📊

Respect chapter data

✓ Do

  • Use chapter social stats and engagement data only to evaluate fit
  • Keep chapter member information confidential

✗ Don't

  • Scrape or export chapter or member data for external use
  • Contact chapter members directly outside the Platform

For Chapters

📣

Be honest about your reach

✓ Do

  • Report real follower counts and engagement rates
  • Update your stats when they change significantly
  • Use the screenshot verification tool for accuracy

✗ Don't

  • Inflate follower counts or engagement rates
  • Purchase fake followers or engagement
  • Submit fabricated screenshots for social verification
📸

Deliver real work

✓ Do

  • Post content on your actual chapter accounts
  • Submit real links and screenshots as proof of delivery
  • Complete deliverables within the agreed timeline

✗ Don't

  • Submit deliverables you haven't actually posted
  • Delete sponsored content immediately after submission
  • Use fake accounts or bots to inflate post metrics
🏛️

Represent your chapter with integrity

✓ Do

  • Only apply to campaigns that are a genuine fit for your chapter and audience
  • Get appropriate chapter leadership sign-off before committing to deals
  • Follow your organization's national policies on commercial partnerships

✗ Don't

  • Apply to campaigns your chapter has no capacity to deliver
  • Commit to deals without member buy-in
  • Violate your national organization's sponsorship or endorsement rules

Reporting a Violation

If you believe another user is violating these guidelines, you can file a dispute from within any active deal, or contact us directly at support@proxoso.com. Include as much detail as possible — screenshots and deal IDs help us act quickly.

We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly. We will not tolerate retaliation against users who report violations in good faith.
